------- Additional comments from idar...@openoffice.org Sun Apr 19 16:30:40 +0000 2009 ------- Using a custom database (remote) with exactly the same fields as the distributed one (obtained via an SQL extraction tool), database entries show up in the Tools->Bibliographic Database entry. However, when you do Insert->Indexes & Tables -> Bibliographic Entry, there is a pause while it apparently contacts the remote database, but no entries appear in the drop-down and thus it is not possible to use the bibliographic feature of OpenOffice.
