I type in "openoffice problemset.odt". Openoffice fully loads, taking a good 
few 
seconds. It then comes up with an ERROR pop-up "problemset.odt does not exist", 
and promptly exits. Tell me, what do you ''think'' a program should do in this 
situation? Wouldn't it make more sense to instead, perhaps, ''create'' this 
file 
and begin editing it, using the extension to infer that I want a text document?
