Python code within packages is not effected. The last patch http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/61673/pythonscript.py.patch can be directly applied to OO310 branch. It's just a one-File patch (scripting/source/pyprov/pythonscript.py), and it is well tested.
