There is an old implementation prior to it the code of which is still in the OOo code base. I had worked on isolating & disabling that using OLD_PIVOT_IMPLEMENTATION macro since it was no longer used. Since it's been almost a year after I did that, I think it's time we removed that code from the code base once and for all.
