------- Additional comments from kuppelhu...@openoffice.org Tue Apr 28 09:50:05 +0000 2009 ------- Hello, 1. Create the Excel file and protect sheet with password and chose option "do not allow to chose protectet files" and "allow formatting cells". 2. Save and close the file. 3. Open the file with Excel -> you can not chose protectet cells but you can format unprotectet cells 4. Close the file 5. Open the file with Calc -> you can chose protectet cells but not format the cells. The unprotectet cells you can format. This is fine. 6. Save the file 7. Open the file with Excel 8. You can chose protectet and unprotectet cells but you can not format the unprotectet cells - that`s bad Both Calc and Excel should be able to format unprotectet cells even if the file is saved as xls. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
