I can't reproduce on my XP and Vista box. At least I would consider this as an
issue in vcredist_x86. OOo doesn't change the install behavior of this
redistributable. It behaves as MS has designed it to. On example I've found:
Install vcredist_x86. Start installation of vcredist_x86 again: You are offered
to uninstall or repair the installation. Choose repair. You'll find the
installation files in the root of you're system drive. In this case OOo has laso
nothing to do with this.
