At least I would consider this as an issue in vcredist_x86. OOo doesn't change the install behavior of this redistributable. It behaves as MS has designed it to. On example I've found: Install vcredist_x86. Start installation of vcredist_x86 again: You are offered to uninstall or repair the installation. Choose repair. You'll find the installation files in the root of you're system drive.
