------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Apr 9 15:12:50 -0700 2005 ------- I audited the filtering features of OO0 2.0 Beta to see if it is comparable with Excel. I found it lacking for a few useful functions. The "is blank", "is NOT blank", and top 10 filter elements are available, carried over from version 1.x. I also have need of the filters of "begins with", "contains" and "ends with"; and their negative counterparts. I do not see them available in the boolean operators in the dialogue box. I do like the copy funtion within the filter dialogue (under More), but have yet to use it. The "standard" use of multiple field filters in one dialogue box is different, and takes some getting used to. I am concerned about the stability of filters. I have had some filters in version 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 disappear from view when manipulating "standard" filter parameters.
