I can re-produce the issue with a brand new presentation with a single slide in it. I create the slide, put in a title and some bullet points, click out of the slide (so that no part of it is selected), then click back into the body of it, and the slide pane thumb nail goes blank apart from the title. If you click out of the slide and then click back into the title, the title of the slide pane thumb nail goes blank, but the body text remains.
