------- Additional comments from pramath...@openoffice.org Tue May 12 10:45:16 +0000 2009 ------- I poked around more in the above doc file and found what is the immediate cause of the problem: When writer reads the doc file, in some tables the spacing on the left is set (erroneously) outside the right margin or very high, because of which the table is not visible on the screen but is listed in the navigator. What I did was to fire up the navigator. Found the table in the listbox. Right-clicked and chose Table/Edit on the popup menu and found that the left spacing was way to high (see attached screenshot). I changed the spacing to 0 and the table came back into view! (see attached screenshot). There is something wrong because of which these table settings are read wrongly during import. Because when I save the same file in writer's native odt format (**without** changing the table left spacing), the file opens with the table in place and no problems. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
