hmm - however

-- leave a column with standard-setting
enter
1
11
111 - and sort it : all as expected
-- change type of that ALL three to TEXT - and sort it: all as expected

-- change first cell by entering a leading zero ( 1 ==> 01) - and sort it:
11
111
01

thats it
type of cell-content is evaluated wrong - and thereof sorted wrong
this is a nogo

this is old stuff, and you may remember it, as you closed that issue:
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=66220
but I guess in that closing it was a sort of misunderstanding.
However, I frequently use that feature, and I am (quite) sure THIS was not like
that in vers. 2.4.x - although we had more ordering-problems in data-sorting,
but thats another story.
