Did you try to reproduce the problem in an environment similar to mine? Excuse me, but as far as I see you didn't do any of both things. I have the problem with Windows XP and you opened documents in Ubuntu. It's the same thing I've said. Did you do it locally or from a network? Locally there's no problem, as i said. I use OO in an enterprise environment and the problem I pointed out *IS* a problem in such a contest.
