I checked with "Ooo Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [DEV300m44
(Build 9401)]" and found out that UI seems to have a focus problem with dialogs.
Steps to reproduce:
0. Start new WRITER document with DEV300m44
1. Mark one word here in my report
2. Press <cntrl>+<c> for "copy"
3. Change to WRITER document
4. Press <cntrl>+<v> for "paste"
As expected, word will be inserted
5. Press 'F1' for Help
6. click into search pane
7. Press <cntrl>+<v> for "paste"
Expected: Word should be inserted
Actual: Nothing
10. Close Help dialog
11. Change to this report here, mark one word here in my report
12. Press <cntrl>+<c> for "copy"
13. Change to WRITER document
14. Press <cntrl>+<v> for "paste"
As expected, word will be inserted
15. Open "Find and Replace" dialog
16. click into search term pane (you will see caret flickering as expected)
17. Press <cntrl>+<v> for "paste"
Expected: Word should be inserted into pane
Actual: Word will be inserted into document
21. Now type "xxxxxxxxxx" into search term pane
22. Press <cntrl>+<a> to select all pane contents
works as expected
23. Press 'Delete' key on keyboard
Expected: all pane contents should be deleted
Actual: nothing
Strange: Backspace will work
There are several additional curious effects like the reported ones.
