------- Additional comments from ft...@openoffice.org Tue May 19 11:30:10 +0000 2009 ------- Steps to reproduce the problem * Type some text with a few footnotes, then Ctrl+Enter for a new page, then again enter some text with a couple of footnotes. * Tools - Footnotes: counting is by default "per document". Change "position" from "End of page" to "End of document". Everything good until now. * Tools - Footnotes: Counting in the dialog is set as "per page" although we did not change anything. Click OK, the change is not reflected. * Tools - Footnotes: set Counting "per Document", then OK, then Tools - Footnotes: Counting still set to "per page" but not implemented "per page". It turns more nasty when chapter headings are used. Then, notes at the end of the document are renumbered per chapter, and there is no way to change them to a numbering per document.
