I am using the Debian ooffice package which reports as OOO310m11 build 9399

I am trying to repeat some headers at the top of each printed page. I select
Ranges->Edit->Rows to Repeat and use the roll-up box to select the first two
rows, which puts $1:$2 in the field and turns the pulldown to "user defined"

However, it then constantly pops up a dialog box saying "invalid sheet
reference".

It seems to be also reported at

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=527535
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openoffice-pkgs/+bug/374708

and may be related to something like

I'll try to attach a screenshot
