------- Additional comments from s_m...@openoffice.org Mon May 25 23:43:48 +0000 2009 ------- I only just started using OpenOffice and mostly use Calc as a direct replacement for Excel. All of my existing files are .xls files and I want to keep them that way at least for now. Most annoyingly, Calc will not remember my preference for saving non ODF format files. When I save, I get the warning stating, "This document may contain formatting [...]" and presents me with two options, "Keep Current Format" (which I choose) and "Save in ODF Format". Below the option is a checkbox labeled, "Ask when not saving in ODF format". Obviously, the purpose of unchecking that before selecting my choice should mean I'm not asked that question next time. But it still comes up every time for the same file and for other files. Repeatable 100% of the time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
