When I got the point in Mail Merge where I could edit the generated document, I pressed that button Edit document and went to the edit mode of the document. Next went to Print Preview and saw all of the extra 'blank' pages that showed up in the regular printer setting. I found that if I save the document as a PDF file, all the 'blank' pages disappeared. Using the PDF format, I could then print and/or email the document as needed. Thanks for all of your help: Joel H.
