well Eric

the described behavior was easyly to understand
if you need a sample for to game with, just go to issue 102272

as this issue had not been solved, this issue is reopend,
and I am not going to accept that this issue is closed again until
I noticed that you catch the point.

Just to make it clear again
The behavior is NOT like having a field/area with an editable value and it is
NOT a value with a special formatation, it is a none-intuitive mix, and although
it is similar to URLs it is not behaving in the same way.
you will find, that the only way for editing that reference is to switch to
Overwrite-modus when entered the area of the greyed reference.
This is an acceptable way, however, the "doubleclick" feature must be
implemented.

Btw:
it is not the same as in issue 35292: that claims, that it is impossible to
strip the property "being a refenece source" from a value without deleting the
value too. that is another part of the same non-proper developed function
"reference".

and btw:
we came accross that, as the function to concatenate strings in writer-tables is
still missing, so the only substitute to deal partly with strings in
writertables is to use "reference", which made it more important that it
functions well.

Martin
