In Microsoft Word you can select to create a bulletted list for any paragraph and when you press enter on the end of a line, it automatically creates a bullet at the beginning of the next line. This does not happen in OpenOffice Impress. To get bullets on each line I had to trick the system by creating a bulletted list in Word and then cutting and pasting it into Impress using the Paste Special function. Even then I had to delete unknown characters at the beginning of each line and on occasion it came up with different sized bullets.
