Currently Impress allows only to go to a specific slide by page number (right-click). It is usually not convenient since we don't know the slide number. A very nice feature is present in the presentation program "Impressive" http://impressive.sourceforge.net/ and is called "Overview screen". The idea is to hit the Tab key and have a presentation of all the slides on 1 screen (as in the OOo sorter view). You can thus quickly select a specific slide by clicking it. I think that such a feature could greatly enhance Impress.
