Using OOo I see that often the layout of the text is different between Word and
OOo: often some text that in Word is contained in a single page it is rendered
in two pages in OOo (or viceversa).
In particular in Word I have lines that are rendered at the TOP of a page, while
in OOo are rendered at the BOTTOM of the previuos page.
This destroy completely the appearance of all the following pages.
I'll attach a .doc file that shows the problem.
As you can see in the FIRST page of the attached doc file, OOo shows the text
"SOMMARIO" at the bottom, while Word shows it at the top of the SECOND page.
Then at the bottom of the second page I can see the text "Natural Join e
Equi-Join" while in Word it starts at the top of third page. And the same for
the following pages.
So it's impossible to swap documents with people using Word and other people
using OOo, because if I fix the layout in one program then it will be broken in
the other.
So please fix the layout engine to recreate exactly the text positioning used by
Word.
Thanks.
