And this is the problem. I love working with keyboard shortcuts in software I use often. Makes me faster, especially in repetitive tasks. This request is to enhance the learning experience and do become a power user faster: By showing the keyboard shortcut in the tooltip, OOo guides the user to use the keyboard and makes that an enjoyable learning experience. Contrast that with the current state: you need to know where to look for the shortcut, and you need to not use the icon but the menu.
