Yeah the OLE never does get out of edit mode and yet you can type outside the
OLE.

Actually I was testing the formula for very long range orders (once I took it to
like.....20000, and yeah I did notice the change in values, that's why I did
it); I know calc is not meant for that purpose, I should make a stand alone
program for that, but using calc makes it very easy.

After major performance boosts in calc, it can actually be used as partial
replacements (just for the convince it causes) to mainstream programs used to do
such scientific calculations.

I used it to debug the derivation...to be more explicit.

"You have a Calc OLE with about 300 rows and 36 columns!"

No its actually 5000 rows.

You can shrink the size of the OLE to make things visible (you know scrolling
and resizing in the OLE edit mode)...yes the spreadsheet wont be completely
visible in A4 size, but it does come in handy to the reviewer who will edit the
OLE and check the formula for large range orders.

Generally working in OOo for scientific purposes is pretty difficult.

That's why I also made that SMP/SMT issue.

Taking an example of this document, this is not actually a formula...its the
characteristics of the whole derivation to rely on the previous row, so all
previous rows should be computed...you have no option to leave it out.

For practical purposes, if this invention (yes, it's the derivation to an
invention) is ever used to navigate in space, then you actually have to drag it
to like........5 million rows, and the columns will too increase to like.....50.
