My copy of office 2003 mangles the bullets and indenting in style 'list 1' when I have the temerity to use style 'list 2'. I've saved documents with bulleted lists unindented, to find them indented next time I open it. And differently indented the next time. Last week it reversed the numbering of a numbered bullet point list. I don't even know how to do that if I wanted to.
