So, we slowly come to surround the problem...

"I saved the template in question as a new template, printed a test page and the
borders still print."

Made think "the document is without visible lines" but prints the lines.
In fact the lines are still there. Sure they print...

So referring to "print" was misleading in your description.

Maybe I was not detailed enough in my first description and you didn't find how
to switch oo the Draw objects borders:

- press Shift+F4 to select the first Draw object (shows now 8 gray/blue +
yellow/green handle)
- go to the the Format toolbar and open the drop-down listbox "Line style" which
shows by default a line "--------".
- Choose "invisible" in it (there is no "none" in this list box!)
-> does that make the border for the selected object disappear?

If yes, you just have to select the other object by surrounding them with the
mouse and set to "invisible" again.

BTW: Looking at the document properties, I see that it is labeled as "Copyright
2008 Avery Dennison Corporation. All rights reserved.", ProductGroup
"U-0085-01".

So it's not one of our templates...

AFAIK Ours don't have by default printable borders.

I'm telling you all this because since the beginning, I was able to switch off
those borders and print your document without them, so until now it's
WORKSFORME.
