------- Additional comments from t...@openoffice.org Wed Jun 17 18:15:57 +0000 2009 ------- I just wanted to say that when Calc opens a CSV file it can limit the decimal places shown eg 34567.565885557 reduced to 34567.57 during the text import. When you put the cursor on the cell you get 34567.565885557 in the formula bar. The problem occurs when you dont do a thing and you hit save. The prompt box says CSV or ODT?, so i selected CSV. Then you are reminded that you will lose the formatting - that's ok. However the new CSV file value/s are reduced to 2 decimal places for the above example. If you ask why i saved at all it because im using a program that generates a CSV and windows is set by default to open the file with Calc. This is a bit of a dangerous problem, especially in my case where the number corresponds to a date, so you lose everything but the day. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
