The OOo Macport first worked this way until (a few) users complained, that the
scrolling was too fast. That was changed with issue 84825. So please take that
up with the good people at uxer experience on the disc...@ux.openoffice.org
mailing list.
The bottom line is I will not change this behavior AGAIN, until a reasonable
amount of people say, it should actually be changed and exactly how.
