I finally found a way to crash the file picker in a reproducible way.

I tested OOo3.0.1, OOo3.1 and a build from the filepicker01 cws on Vista Sp2
with 2GB RAM. The results were identical with all versions.

Steps to reproduce:

- Create a new impress document.
- Select a slide layout with a graphics place holder.
- Double-click the place holder to open the file picker.
- Open the preview pane in the file picker.
- I navigated to my pictures folder, where I have stored lots of jpg files in
many subfolders, each jpg file around 1.5 - 2MB in size.
- Opened a subfolder, select a picture file, OK to insert the file.
- Create a new slide and repeat inserting another picture to the new slide
(sometimes switching fast between the different subfolders).
- Usually after repeating this for a couple of times, the file picker stops
responding.

There is something different in this scenario than in my previous crashes. I am
not asked to send an error report. After some time, Windows ask me, if I want to
close OOo, because it is not responding.

The previous crashes happened also with the File, Save as or PDF Export file
pickers, which don't have the preview pane enabled. With these file pickers, I
haven't experienced a crash for some time now.
