The function is called in B2. Change the value in A2 for to see that the function works. 2. Open the IDE and change something in the macro, for example add a comment. Save macro, close IDE. 3. Change value in A2 for to see that the macro still works. 4. Save the document. 5. Reopen the document. Notice the error in B2.
