This is still an issue. In fact it happened again at a conference where I was
presenting about deploying OOo 3. I opened my presentation and the master page I
had applied the day before was not applied when I reopened the same
presentation. I have heard reports via email from all over of this happening. I
am, however, having difficulty pinpointing the cause because it seems very
inconsistent at the moment. Could it have anything to do with how I am deploying
the extra templates via script? I am simply copying the templates to the
directory C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\share\template\en-US\.
Although, I know it is happening in other school districts as they have reported
the behaviors to me. Like I said, I cannot get it reproduce on a consistent
basis yet, but I will keep trying.
