It looks like the string 

res_Trendline_tmpl.hrc#RESOURCE_TRENDLINE_availablewidth__yoffset_.CB_SHOW_CORRELATION_COEFF.checkbox.text

Show ~correlation coefficient (R²) 

is not the right terminology, if we consider 

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coefficient_of_determination

the correct nomenclature fo R² should be "Coefficient of determination"

It happens that both names are related when we have linear trends.

This was reported to me by a university professor who gives lectures on 
statistics.
