------- Additional comments from car...@openoffice.org Sun Jul 12 01:48:04 +0000 2009 ------- HP530 laptop debian linux vn 2.6.26-2-686 gnome vn 2.22.3 OpenOffice Writer vn 2.4.1 iceweasel vn 3.0.6 When I click-and-drag to highlight text in an email displayed from Gmail in IceWeasel, I can paste it into a blank OpenOffice Writer document open on my screen. BUT, if my paste includes either field of the first line of the email (the sender name, or the words "hide details" / "show details"), OpenOffice Writer will crash instantly (usually without an error message) and close ALL open Writer files on my desktop. If I try to recover the new file when restarting Oo Writer, it either appears without the pasted addition OR crashes Writer again! This occure with any email, and is reliable. On one occasion Writer gave a "crash" report, and I was able to retrieve the file causing the crash (attached, if I can find out how). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
