VLC after 0.9.9a isn't supporting 10.4 Tiger anymore, 0.8.6i which is the newest compiled VLC plugin suitable for Tiger. Think it is not necessary to test it as now we know if there's this crash appearing where it comes from (don't need the plugin myself).
