------- Additional comments from drich...@openoffice.org Wed Jul 29 16:26:16 +0000 2009 ------- drichard->cd: I brought down the Linux build and tested alongside M52 and 3.1. It did not work for me. My results. OpenOffice 3.1 -------------- /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice -pt it /users/drichard/test.odt Document prints, and Writer GUI opens, no warnings or errors. OpenOffice M52 -------------- /opt/ooo-dev3/program/soffice -pt it /users/drichard/test.odt Document prints, and Writer GUI opens, get the following warnings: soffice:26719): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:1669: signal `monitors-changed' is invalid for instance `0x8073120' ** (soffice:26719): WARNING **: unable to get gail version number OpenOffice Test Build --------------------- /opt/OOo_3.2.0_090728_unxlngi6_install/openoffice.org3/program/soffice -pt it /users/drichard/test.odt I get the following errors only: [Java framework] Error in function createSettingsDocument (elements.cxx). javaldx failed! (soffice:25914): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:1669: signal `monitors-changed' is invalid for instance `0x8073120' ** (soffice:25914): WARNING **: unable to get gail version number I then get a GUI popup window which reports: The application cannot be started. An internal error occurred. I then attempted to launch writer itself from the OOo_3.2.0_090728_unxlngi6_install/openoffice.org3/program directory and get the same errors and final result. Let me know if I have made any mistakes in my testing. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
