On a Mac one cannot change viewing size  of a film in media playback toolbar - 
the "view" toolbar element 
is not functional at all. This results in problems to playback video sequences 
in impress presentations (full 
screeen mode)  because no matter what you do - the video always will be played 
in it's original size in the 
down left corner of it's position. 
By changing the size of the video (in "Position and Size" context menu) below 
it's original size, the video 
don't get scaled but cut.

Please also consider issue 37722 as propably related.
