------- Additional comments from oo_g...@openoffice.org Wed Aug 5 03:10:59 +0000 2009 ------- Tables in documents saved as .doc 97/2000 lose their brains. Text from multiple cells concatenated into one cell. Other text translated, transposed, or mushed in cells it shouldn't be in. Format/Character/Rotation is altered 90deg/0deg not quite randomly but certainly in hodgepodge fashion enough to make the table look like one of the better grades of dog crap that I've seen. I will try and attach the files. Between my version 5 file(odt) and version 6 file(doc) I changed the BG color to light gray, typed in a bunch of X's in cells and maybe remove a couple rows but, version 5 gives an idea of what it looked like on screen before saving to .doc. If you then open version 6 (.doc) using oowriter you will see the embarassment that I experienced when I realized I hadn't saved an .odt after my last entry and before saving as .doc. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
