2005 -------
OpenOffice 1 would remember where I was in a document and would position the
document so it returned to being centered in the window rather than making me
scroll. I understand that you have decided to make writer documents open on page
1 at least that is what the help says. I would be grateful if you could add an
option so it would open documents to where they were. I use writer on documents
that are hundreds of pages long and having to scroll down to where I was last
working, which isn't always the end, is time consuming.
