2009 -------
- install the MySQL connector/OOo from
  http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/mysql_connector
- File / New / Database
=> The "Database Wizard" opens
- on the first page, select "Connect to an existing database" and "MySQL"
- on the second page, select "Connect native"
=> observe the roadmap, where the third item now changes its text to "Set up
   JDBC connection". This is wrong, as we're not doing a JDBC connection here.
