I checked with a small, old 64MB USB thumb drive and "Ooo 3.1.0 WIN XP
multilingual version German UI activated [OOO310m11 (Build 9399)]" and can NOT
confirm the reported effect. Opened an existing document on USB drive, modified
it, detached drive, reattached drive after 1 minute, modified again and pressed
"save" icon. Document has been saved on USB thumb drive without any problems.
Same result with "2.4.1 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP:
[680m17(Build9310)]".
