Unforutnately I have not been able to find a resolution or naything that helped me. I read Issue 95849 and it said to make sure the Python-Uno component is installed and it is but it's still not working. I've tried selecting the SMTP to use separate authentication which results in a successful "Establish network connection" but fails to "Find outgoing mail server". If I choose to use the same authentication as my POP3 both tasks fail. In both cases the error is that OpenOffice.org could not connect to the outgoing mail server. Check your system's settings and the settings in OpenOffice.org. Check server name, the port and the secure connections settings. I've checked all these things and they are all set correctly. If I have missed something from any existing Issues submitted please point me to the one that will clearly give me a resolution.
