It removes the necessity to build with --enable-libsn to have startup notification working with KDE vclplug (Gtk+ vclplug already works well). Still, libstartup-notification is needed for the generic plugin; no idea how to remove it & and still to have reasonable behaviour with StartupNotify=true in the .desktop file :-( Ideas appreciated.
