+0000 2009 -------
I'm using 'INDIRECT' in one workbook to reference a cell in another sheet of a
different workbook. My simplified formula as previously noted still replicates
the problem on the three PC's I've tested so far, but without the complex
formulas and calculations. I'm typically using it nested in an 'OFFSET'
formula as the starting cell reference. It is in the workbook named '_Payroll
Master.ods', and my filename for the source data changes every two weeks. This
source data file happens to be named 'Payroll 2009-09-04.ods'. Here's another
example of how I'm using it in '_Payroll Master.ods' (still simplified):

=OFFSET(INDIRECT("'"&"Payroll 2009-09-04.ods"&"'#$Employees.A2");5;0)

I've tried this on three different computers. As I've upgraded them to 3.1.1,
the 'INDRECT' formula ceases to function as noted. This series of workbooks
has been working flawlessly for 9 months. Reverting back to 3.0.1 corrects the
problem, but we're obviously missing the new features offered in 3.1.1.

Note of test file operability: My sample files are simplified for a single work
crew. I'm actually using it with 12 supervisors, each with a separate
worksheet for their own crews, totalling 70 employees, which need to be
submitted on a single worksheet in alphabetical order. The payroll master
workbook calculates which source data workbook to gather all the employee and
timesheet information based on the current date, and arranges the data based on
how they are sorted on the 'Employees' worksheet of the 'Payroll 2009-09-
04.ods' workbook. You will need to override the date in '_Payroll Master.ods'
to keep it looking at the same dated sample file.
