Conclusion: The "Ctrl"+"Home" key takes the cursor to the home of the text box, that is, to the beginning of the text in the text box. If tried for "Ctrl"+"End" , the cursor goes to the end of the typed text. Steps followed: 1. Open Impress, or open an existing .ppt or .odp presentation. 2. Select the slide "Title slide" or "Title, Text" or "Title, 2 Text Blocks" from the "Layouts" window, or select an existing slide having a text area. 3. Click in a text area and type any random text and fill 5 or 6 lines with text. In the title text-box fill one line. If the text box has five or six lines already, one may proceed to the next step without typing any additional text. 4.
