This comment is to elaborate on my conclusions in my third-last comment about
the functionality of "Ctrl"+"Home" key when used within a text box.

Conclusion: The "Ctrl"+"Home" key takes the cursor to the home of the text box,
that is, to the beginning of the text in the text box. If tried for "Ctrl"+"End"
, the cursor goes to the end of the typed text.

Steps followed:
1. Open Impress, or open an existing .ppt or .odp presentation.
2. Select the slide "Title slide" or "Title, Text" or "Title, 2 Text Blocks"
from the "Layouts" window, or select an existing slide having a text area.
3. Click in a text area and type any random text and fill 5 or 6 lines with
text. In the title text-box fill one line. If the text box has five or six lines
already, one may proceed to the next step without typing any additional text.
4. Once your cursor is at the end of all typed text in a text-box, press
"Ctrl"+"Home".
