------- Additional comments from kuzmi...@openoffice.org Fri Sep 18 10:20:05 +0000 2009 ------- Indeed, the issue can be solved by turning off the "Tools / Options / OpenOffice.org Writer / Tables / Number Recognition" setting. The problems are: 1. "Number recognition" does not seem associated with date recognition. Could be named "Date and number recognition", or a separate option for dates could be added. 2. Date recognition could be turned off by default. I spent a lot of time fighting with this problem. The most important thing is that date format change cannot be called "expected behavior": if I write "2009-09-18", I really mean I want it that way, and it is really frustrating to see it changed to "09/18/09". --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
