------- Additional comments from hennerdre...@openoffice.org Tue Sep 22 12:36:46 +0000 2009 ------- In order to reproduce, you have to open a document, which resides in a folder, that has *not* been accessed by the Open/Save As file picker recently. Steps to reproduce: 1. Put a document in an "exotic" folder, to make sure that this folder hasn't been accessed recently. 2. To circumvent the open file picker, open that document by double-clicking the file in Windows Explorer. 3. Choose File, Save as... Result: The file picker displays its last accessed folder. Expected: The file picker should display the folder in which the current document resides. Impact: As a wrong folder is unexpectedly displayed, there is a high probability to save files other places you have intended to. Happened to me several times during the last days and you end up searching for you files... The Vista file picker fixes included in 3.2 have improved the usability of the file picker noticeably, but unfortunately this bug is able to spoil the user experience by violating a very basic behavior. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
