User fst changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Priority|P1 |P4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |DUPLICATE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from f...@openoffice.org Mon Sep 28 14:48:06 +0000 2009 ------- Hi, not a bug but a support request ! Please press CTRL+F8 As you can see all 'numbers' in the range A1:A64 are black and therefore Text ! (except A42 which is blue indicating it as a number) This feature is called value highlighting (have a look in the Help system for it). Text is Text and numbers are numbers. And therefore you can't calculate with text. The behaviour shown by Calc will be changed soon. Have a look at Issue 5658 also.
