------- Additional comments from hardy...@openoffice.org Fri Oct 2 11:42:24 +0000 2009 ------- This is how to reproduce the misbehaviors of the footers in the (a) Notes View (Impress, OOo 3.1.1 on WinXP): (But this also happens more importantly in the (b) Handout View when printing, see below!) 1. create a new presentation 2. create some empty slides (let's say 3) 3. goto page 2 (or 3) 4. insert a footer using the menue "Insert" - "Page Number" - Date = OFF, Footer = ON, FooterText = Hello DontDisplayOnFirstPage = ON --> press "do for all pages" 5. The 2 footers are correctly inserted on page 2 and 3 6. Now switch to the Notes View in Impress ==> First error: Here the footer is also displayed on page 1! 7. Remove the footers by using the menue "Insert" - "Page Number" - Date = OFF, Footer = OFF, --> press " do for all pages" 8. In the Normal mode the footers are now gone, as intended. ==> Second error: In the Notes view, all 3 footers are still there! I have not found a way to remove the footers again in the Notes View. Additionally the footes also misbehave the same way in the (b) HANDOUT VIEW. But this is more difficult to see, since the slide content is not shown there inside the program. Here you really have to PRINT something to see the misbehavior. Since I normally use the Handout View to print the Handouts for my students, this is a very bothering behavior. I don't see the problem beforehand on the normal view, and after printing I have some old footers printed on all the pages :( --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
