------- Additional comments from leve...@openoffice.org Wed Oct 7 17:40:47 +0000 2009 ------- Up to and including 3.1.0, when you opened an existing document the OOo launcher would wait until the doc had been opened by the resident process before exiting. This allowed mail user agents, for instance, to open OOo attachments by creating a temporary file, then unlinking it when OOo exited, in the same manner as they do for any other MIME based viewer. In OOo 3.1.1, the launcher no longer waits, but returns before the document has been opened by the resident ooffice.bin process. This means that a mailer will delete the document it has asked OOo to open before the resident process actually gets to it. This regression causes failure to open the document when OOo is configured as a MIME viewer for such programs. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
