------- Additional comments from wcwlgp3o...@openoffice.org Sat Oct 10 05:14:52 +0000 2009 ------- I sought to follow the advice in post "How to swap the function of the Backspace and Delete keys..." in http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=9392 I thus discovered that when one goes to assign a function to a key, that there are *two* entries for the Category=Edit with function="Delete Contents". 1) This is confusing for user 2) This prevents the second "Delete Contents" list item (which is presumed to effect "Delete Contents via Dialog") from being effectively assigned to a key since even if one does assign that second instance to a key, the first instance of "Delete Contents" (the simpler, delete-immediately-and-not-involving-a-dialog) is what's actually assigned. Presumed fix is to give a unique 'function' name to that second instance (e.g. "Delete Contents via Dialog").
