There is the way described in issue # 6335, this works fine but is not user-friendly because it is not visible to the user. I would rather prefer a context menu entry "Deselect all tables" when all tables are selected analog to "Select all tables", when not all tables are selected. Please do not close this issue simply as duplicate of 6335.
