It would be very convenient if there was a DOM (document object model) view in
the drawing application (and in the presentation application).   It would
present a tree of objects that are present on the current page of the drawing. 
It would help a lot with:

- selecting objects: on complex drawings and slides it's often difficult ot
select the right objects with the mouse.  Also sometimes, objects are hidden by
other objects which complicates selection even more
- knowing what is actually on the drawing.  I have a couple of documents that I
update regularly.  These documents tend to accumulate "garbage" i.e. stuff that
I created but forgot about or that is hidden by other components.  A DOM-view
would help alot in cleaning this up.
